          While it is true that opposites attract one another. We all like someone with similarities and good qualities.
           What do individuals want in their potential mate? Well, that varies from person to person. It also depends on the persons intentions. The intentions of your potential partner are important. Everyone should want a relationship beneficial to their happiness. Men and women want to feel safe and secured by their partner. No one wants to have their time and energy wasted. Neither does wanting an dishonest and disloyal partner. Being able to trust your partner brings a comforting feeling. That trust can bring peace and harmony to the relationship.
            When looking for a partner we look for certain qualities. Men and women have different needs and wants. So there are bound to be differences in preference. What are the qualifications men and women look for? Let's take a look at what causes the attraction.

One important trait men want from their woman is reliability. Reliability from your partner strengthens the trust It also shows no matter what they'll be by your side. A lady that is respectful is a huge plus. Being respectful and well-mannered could make her well respected. The other major trait is a supportive woman. Nothing beats a woman that supports you through whatever. Having someone that supports you is a blessing. It could be an idea, dream(s), opinion, job, etc. she's behind you. Someone that listens and communicates well is definitely attractive. Most important trait is being able to be best friends.  If you could be friends as well as lovers keep them. That type of woman will be your backbone and heart.

                     Last but not least the lovely ladies. What do women find intriguing about men? Women are attracted to a man with confidence. The body language show a woman if you're confident. A good personality gets their attention. If a mans personality is positive women see that as attractive. Ladies are drawn to a man with a sense of humor. A sense of humor shows a woman you're laid back. The integrity and honest of a man is vital to women. If you can be honest and keep your word you'll get their respect. Women love a man they can put their trust into.

                     Good communication is key in a relationship. Listening to them show that you're attentive and care. Someone that has goals and ambition is important. Women like individuals who has dreams and a vision. That mixed with initiative shows a boss-like quality. Another thing women find attractive is stimulation. Whether it's emotional, physical, cognitive, psychological or etc. they like stimulation. Females like to be challenged in many shapes of form. A sensitive gentleman is a woman's dream. An independent man that can give her space is important. Giving her space let's her miss you and think about you. Space also is a time for privacy and relaxation. During that time she can recollect her thoughts, calm down, do hobbies, etc. Everyone needs a little bit of "me" time. This also shows that you have trust in her as well. Space in a relationship make's the connection stronger. That is the qualities women find attractive in a man.
